Hello friends! Assisted Living Connections is a local placement agency dedicated to helping seniors and their families find the ideal living solutions. We specialize in assisted living facilities, independent living and retirement homes, in-home care, Alzheimer’s and memory/dementia care, residential care homes (board and care), respite, and hospice services.

Serving Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, our team of professionals possesses extensive knowledge of all available locations. We work closely with these senior communities daily, conducting in-person visits and accompanying clients on tours to ensure the best fit.

As the Senior Living Advisor for Los Angeles County, I bring over a decade of experience working with seniors and their families. I hold a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration and have experience as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Additionally, I’ve spent many years in Community Relations for a reputable senior living organization. Having personally experienced the challenges of loved ones with dementia, I understand how overwhelming and heartbreaking this process can be.

We know that finding the right senior living option can be stressful and confusing. Our goal is to simplify this process by recommending only those places that align with the required level of care, social and emotional needs, budget, and location. We are here to guide families with care, compassion, and expertise to find that perfect fit.

Tami Podell and Kelila Heller are the owners, covering East Ventura County and Simi Valley, while Senior Living Advisor Jan Bearss covers West Ventura County.

We create a personalized list based on your needs, accompany you on tours, guide you through the transition, and provide resources and follow up for an easeful transition. We are always here for support and look forward to serving you and your loved ones!
